On Fridays, I block out time to work ON my consulting business, developing strategy, formulating plans, and building tools - to uplevel the business and better serve clients. Here's how I kickstarted my day to get into the right mindset.


As the sun peeked over the horizon, I laced up my running shoes and hit the pavement for my 8-by-8 challenge: eight miles by 8 am. This ritual isn't just about fitness; it's also about cultivating the right mindset. By conquering the physical and mental challenge of eight miles before 8 am, I prove to myself that I am capable of overcoming any obstacle. It's a reminder that success is earned, not handed out, and that discipline and determination pave the way for achievement.


Starting the day with power and intention gives strength and direction. With each step, I shed any lingering doubts, embrace my resilience, and welcome the unlimited potential that awaits. During these moments of solitude and self-reflection, I find clarity, creativity, and an unwavering sense of purpose that sets the stage for an incredibly productive day.
